Therapeutic Modalities
ACT Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps clients respond differently to difficult thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. In sessions, clients learn practical skills to reduce struggling with internal experiences, become more present, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to build.
CBT Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps clients identify patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be contributing to distress. In sessions, clients learn practical strategies to challenge unhelpful thinking, change ineffective behaviors, and build healthier ways of responding to difficult situations.
ERP Therapy
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) helps clients gradually face feared thoughts, situations, sensations, or urges while reducing the compulsions, avoidance, or reassurance-seeking used to feel safer. In sessions, exposures are planned collaboratively and practiced at a manageable pace so clients can build confidence, tolerate uncertainty, and respond differently to anxiety.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps clients process distressing memories, beliefs, and experiences that continue to affect them in the present. In sessions, clients focus on specific memories or emotional themes while using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or alternating taps, to support the brain’s natural processing system.
